One Hour Introductory Session from Writing Coach, Emily Hanlon. Open to the adventure of your fiction writing!

This package is the most in-depth exploration of your writing, and the best way to see if you want to work with me as your coach on an ongoing basis. The package includes two phone sessions and a reading of up to fifty double-spaced pages.

During the first phone call, we talk for a short time about you and your writing and make an appointment for the in-depth session.

During the next phone session (we can meet in person if you live within driving distance of my home in Westchester County, NY), we explore the writing that you sent me. Through a variety of means, we "open up" the piece and take it to the next step. I explain what is working well in your writing, and explain why it is working. I pinpoint what is not working well enough, explain why, and give you tools to develop you as a writer.

The session runs from one and a half to two hours. We talk until you feel inspired and have several ideas of where to go next with your writing.

After your Introductory Session, if you sign up for five hours of private work (on the phone or in person), the $200 fee for your introductory package is credited toward the Five Hour Package; so your introductory session becomes free.
